Nikki’s Style – Top 5 Looks of Fall

Happy Tuesday Fashionistas! Boy has time pasted right? What better time than to say goodbye to Fall and hello to Spring with my fave 5 Fall looks. This is the first time in years that Houston’s Fall/Winter has extended past January and to be honest I’m ready for the warm weather to come and stay. But I must admit that I loved my Fall style this past season, especially since layering was truly key to stay warm but stylish.

Here are my TOP 5 looks of Fall and how I stayed stylish in the cold weather:

The prepping with knit look was a new take on the cable sweater trend that was seen everywhere. So I thought I should give it a try for myself since it was actually cold enough to wear a cable sweater. With this look, I mixed textures, patterns, and colors to spice up this normal sweater/trousers combo. See more pics and details here.

You guys know I love a good t-shirt and jeans outfit, but this time I decided to try a different layering piece of the bomber jacket instead of my usual blazer or cardigan. The thing I loved about this outfit is that it is that one outfit that doesn’t look like you are trying too hard. Which is always good to have looks that don’t look like you put too much thought into them. See more pics and details here.

One of my goals this year was to think outside of the box with my style and with this mixed prints look I truly did. Denim shirts are the new white shirt to me because the denim makes any outfit more casual that a white shirt does. The thing I loved about this look is that mixing textures helped this outfit have more personality. See more details and pics here.

Fall was all about the sweater and this look was no exception to the trend. This Aztec printed cardigan was truly a showstopper and with this outfit less was truly more. The thing I loved about this outfit was how casual the sweater was paired with a pari of colored jeans and a denim shirt. This year we introduced our partnership with Bevello boutique and becoming Bellas reps which gives us the opportunity to promote their boutiques and wear the awesome clothes of course. This look was one of my faves because I’m so casual at times but this look takes casual to the next level.
